The Numbers Don’t Lie
So there will be some changes hitting in the coming days to the availability of some of my books. In my day job, I'm a Financial Analyst - which basically means I break down numbers, trends and data to produce conclusions that are useful for decision-making. UK & EU – Heads up on VAT and 2015 Pricing
Others have gone into this in some detail (See Kal Spriggs post on How I Learned to Hate the VAT, for example), but I think that it behooves us self-published authors to advise our readers and fanbases of what's coming down the pipe. Bluntly, Amazon is getting their fingers slapped for tax evasion in the EU, and they're passing the stinging sensation on to reader's wallets.
