Yesterday, Starship’s Mage Episode 3 hit 13,700 words.
This is about halfway through the story of Episode 3, which is looking to come in around 25,000 words, so I think I’m safe in saying that Episode 3 is half-way complete and on target for my planned completion date. With revisions and cover art taken into account, I’m eyeballing a June 15, 2014, release date.
The halfway point of Episode 3 also marks the halfway point of Starship’s Mage itself. The plan is to complete five novellas, and then work on two novel length sequels. (The working title of the next one is a spoiler for how Starship’s Mage ends, which means I may have to change it before release.)
Episodes 1 and 2 have continued to rack up sales and some very complimentary reviews on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and Google. Both have also spent a good bit of time on Amazons Top 100 Space Exploration and Science Fiction Short Reads bestseller lists.
